Weekly Swadhyaya: Since a decade or more the Institute is holding Satsang once a week when the group of participants study books written by Sri Aurobindo and the Mother.
Workshops on Sri Aurobindo’s Philosophy & Yoga: On special occasions the Institute invites resource persons to conduct workshops on Sri Aurobindo’s and the Mother’s vision of life.
IHS Anniversary Talks: Since more than two decades the Institute has been holding Annual talks around the 13th December (Institute’s Anniversary) in which renowned scholars speak on some aspect of Sri Aurobindo’s and the Mother’s vision.
National Integration Camps for students: These are three-day camps organized to expose the students to profound ideas and experiences of life. They are taught to manifest beauty and harmony in material organization, develop their senses and train the mind to concentrate, analyze and try to express the truth. It helps in an integral personality development of the students.
V. Madhusudan Reddy Endowment Scholarship: The Institute also gives scholarships for outstanding students in Humanities to facilitate further research in Sri Aurobindo’s thought, in the name of its founder – Prof. V.Madusudan Reddy.
Promotion of Fine Arts: The Mother laid great importance on vital education. Vital education involves sense development, aesthetic development and character development. By providing a variety of aesthetic activities after the school hours the Institute serves the objective of promoting vital education by channelizing the energies of the children.
Leadership Camps: Annually the Institute conducts Leadership Camps for students of 10th standard to help the students inculcate qualities of a leader, team-builder and also to acquire sportsman spirit, decision-making capacity and self-management skills.
