AUROVIDYA 2022 – National Seminar on NEP and Integral Education

Venue : New Creation A Free Progress School, Champak Hills, Jangaon, Telangana

On the occasion of 150th birth anniversary, a  National level symposium  ‘AuroVidya 2022’ was organised at  Jangaon in New creation School, Champak Hills, Jangaon.

Institute of Human Study (OU Road, Hyderabad) organised this event which focused on NEP 2020 and Integral Education.

Vice Chancellor of Hyderabad University, Shri. B. J. Rao was the Chief Guest, emphasised the need of education necessary for Indians which not only provides good education and values, but also will lead to spiritual awareness.

Retd. Prof V Sudhakar from EFLU was the Guest of Honour, talked about the implementation of NEP 2020 at school and higher educational level.

Educationist, Coordinators and teachers of Schools from different states participated in this event.

Dr. Chhalamayi Reddy, Principal of Sri Aurobindo International School, Hyderbad reiterated the words of our Prime Minister Shri Modiji in the ‘Mann ki baat’ held on November 29th 2020.

“Sri Aurobindo had a clear vision on education. He did not limit education to only bookish knowledge, degree and employment.  Sri Aurobindo said, our National Education should be training of heart and mind of our youth. It means mind should be scientifically developed and heart should have Indian spirit, then only a youth can be a better citizen. Whatever Sri Aurobindo said about national education at that time, what expectation he had the country is accomplishing that through the new Education Policy.”

Not only India but the entire world shall benefit which Sri Aurobindo had stated 100 years ago.

NEP 2020 is based on Sri Aurobindo’s principles. It also states how students and teachers should give importance of mother tongue which was mentioned by Sri Aurobindo a century back in Preface to National Education.
